Comfortable and Firm Fabric Seat

The newest addition to my Greenington Bamboo collection is my new Danica chair. I was torn between the red and the gray, but went with the gray because it matches everything--maybe I took the easy way out versus being more bold with the red? Anyway, it was close, but I'm happy with my choice. The light wheat finish on the Danica really stands out if you pair it with a Greenington Amber piece, too--you can see in the pic below, I have it next to a more reddish cabinet (not GT). As a functional chair, the Danica is actually more comfortable than it looks! The fabric upholstery and cushion are a little firmer than you expect, but it's actually perfect, providing comfort and support. The angles, deep back and deep seat allow you to relax into it. Perfect level for lounging, reading, video gaming or just sitting.

Shipping

Furniture over $199 Ships for Free in the Continental (Lower 48) United States of America. We do charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and International Shipments, which is quoted on an order-by-order basis. Most furniture ships freight, which is delivered curbside to your driveway. If you need assistance getting the item into your house, carrying furniture up a flight of stairs, or more hands-on services, like assembly or white glove services, we can assist with finding the right upgrades at the right prices. Returns and Cancellations

Most of our customers love our products at first sight, but if you change your mind or don’t like a product, we can cancel most orders up to the point they ship. Products in new, unopened, resalable condition can also be sent back in original packaging materials, but the customer is responsible for the return shipping/freight charges, per our Return Policy. Lastly, Custom Made and Made-to-Order items must be cancelled within 72 hours or are charged in full to start the production, at which point, they can’t be cancelled or returned. Warranties

Our catalog of furniture items is high quality and made to last. All furniture items are sold with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in craftsmanship or functionality per our Return Policy. For your convenience, if a situation does occur regarding warranty or shipping issues, Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all claims and warranty replacements. Beyond that, it is our desire to have happy customers and earn your business anytime you have home furnishing needs. All Greenington furniture is made of 100% natural bamboo. It is very hard, dense and extremely durable. Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces. Here are some general tips that'll go a long way towards maintaining and caring for your new furniture pieces.

Damage Prevention

Use coasters and pads to prevent damage from heat, moisture or heavy objects.
Do not use wax or polish on your bamboo furniture.
To prevent staining or water marks, make sure to clean spills immediately, using a dabbing motion with a soft cloth.

Cleaning

For periodic cleaning use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner designed for wood furniture.
Avoid cleaners that contain abrasive materials, oil, acidic or caustic ingredients or any other harsh chemicals.

Avoiding Scratches

To avoid scratches, take care to lift objects and never drag or slide them across surfaces.

Keep Away from Heat

Avoid placing furniture directly in front of heat vents, wood burning stoves or other heat sources.
Never place bamboo furniture in direct sunlight day after day.
